Just a reminder that the mid-season finale of The Lying Game is tonight!  Don’t miss it

The Lying Game Goes on Hiatus on October 17th.  ABC Family hasn’t announced a return date yet, except to say that the show will return in 2012.  Season 1 premiered on August 15th and so far has had showed 9 amazing episodes.  On this upcoming Monday, October 17th, the final episode in the first half of the season will air.  We think that season 2 will be just as exciting as the first, stay tuned.

Don’t miss the next episode of the Lying Game, episode 10, called “East of Emma”, which airs on Monday, October 17th.

We’re head-over Louboutin heels for The Lying Game’s resident shopaholic Char — her fashion is to die for and her confused attempts at humor never fail to amuse!

Kirsten Prout recently dished about Char’s fashionista tendencies and what it’s like to play dress-up for a living. “Fashion is such a big part of the show,” Kirsten tells Movie Web. “I think that larger-than-life aspect, the fact that we’re always dressed to the nines, is super fun. Our costume designer, Mimi, is brilliant. And the accessories, the outfits, I mean every episode just gets more and more interesting. And I love the way she dresses Char. She’s got that cute — we really bring in a lot of ‘50s pinup kind of style. Things that are a little more retro. We’re kind of definitely finding the groove with Char and we’ve been finding that by bringing little 30s or 50s accents to outfits that are super modern.”

Second only to her style is that waterfall of cascading hair! Are Kirsten’s locks as gorgeous in real life as they are on screen? “I will wear my hair curly and I do have blonde hair,” Kristen says, “But I do not have a professional stylist with me at all times. So I will get my occasional flyaway where Char would be caught dead before she had a flyaway.”
